This set of three 2 1/2 hour sessions wil offer a variety of projects to expand your basic sewing skills. You'll make a beautiful pillow case and a fun tote. Additional techniques like zippers and button holes will be covered if time allows. Basic sewing notions will be needed.

Starting in June, Faye Graham, (retired National Product trainer for Baby Lock USA) will be teaching a monthly class at We're Sew Creative. You will learn to make this quick and easy circle quilt pattern by the Swirly Girls called Insider Trading. We will cover using the circle ruler and mastering the blanket stitch. Pick 10 fat quarters and a background fabric.

Beginning in August, we'll learn one of Judy Niemeyer's famous techniques each month. Classes go through April 2014 and will take place each month right here in our classroom.

Come for a fun filled week of sewing. The agenda includes learning the sewing machine and making 3 projects (pillow case, string bag, and swim suit cover up). Each week will cover the same topics and projects. Ages 10-16.

 | Machine Quilting & Bindings
This class combines our Machine Quilting Techniques Class and Bindings class in to one informative fun filled class! You will learn lots of techniques for free-motion quilting. There will also be instructions for using the walking foot, so bring your 18” x 22” “quilt sandwiches” & come play & draw with your sewing machine! Most classes leave binding to your imagination. Now is your chance to learn how to make bias, straight, & fun bindings with ease & not be afraid to finish all those quilts.

This Mondo Bag Pattern by Quiltsmart includes 2 printed interfacing panels to make one big bag. Squares on a fusible interfacing sew fast and easy with this simple technique. The 17" tall bag has a bottom that is 10" square.

Deanna loves pincushions! She will share her techniques with you so you can make these adorable pincushions for yourself or as gifts. There will be a different pattern each month. Fee is for each class; you are not obligated to sign up each month.

Learn the basics of quilting in this one day class by making a quilt top using only 5 fabrics. You will want to make this over and over and there are more patterns in the series.

 | Sewing Basics
Learn the Basics of sewing. We'll cover the necessary tools to begin a successful sewing experience. The class will guide you through the basic notions, fabric selection, and machine operation. You can bring your own machine or rent one of our user friendly Baby Lock classroom machines for a nominal fee. Class length 2 1/2 hours.

 | Stitcher's Garden
The Stitcher's Garden is a new way of learning different sewing feet each month. You will create a block each month that will make a 85" x 93" quilt top. This will be so much fun as you unlock the features and 16 different feet of your sewing machine. This is NOT machine embroidery.
