Double Ended Potholder

Double Ended potholders are the perfect potholder for larger dishes. They can be hung on the oven door handle so you can grab them quickly! The class will focus on using Insulbrite, quilting the pockets and back, and applying binding to the pocket and potholder. The pockets can be a piece of fabric or can showcase an 8"x8" quilt block.

Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	basic sewing and quilting skills needed
Requirements:	1/4 yard each of 2 coordinating fabrics for front and back (pieces need to be 8"x24") 4 pieces of 8"x8" fabric for pockets (or you could use quilt blocks) 9"x40" Insulbrite 1/6 yard for binding Equipment and Tools: sewing machine in good working order walking foot (optional) 1/4" foot or regular sewing foot rotary cutter and mat 6x24 ruler pins scissors thread to match project fabric
