English Paper Piecing - Coffin Flower

Come make this spooky cute Halloween pillow using the art of English Paper Piecing! Class will cover making plastic template for coffin shape, cutting, gluing, and stitching of the pieces to make your coffin flower.

Supplies:

Fabrics of your choice for the 18 coffins

Hand sewing needles (I like Straw Milliners but use what you are comfortable with)

Coordinating thread (use the weight you are most comfortable with for hand sewing. I prefer 60-100 wt)

Add 3/8” ruler

One plastic template sheet

Marking Pen or Pencil

Glue Pen

Scissors

Any other basic sewing supplies you desire

For finishing the pillow you will need 2/3 yard fabric. The finished flower is approximately 18” so you can make the pillow any size 20” or larger.

Optional:

~Needle threader

~Wonder clips or SewTites

~Thread Magic, Beeswax or other thread conditioner

~Thimble

**English Paper Piecing is done by hand so you will not need a sewing machine for this class**
