Watercolor Eyeglass Technique

Technique and Project both in one!! Come and join our newest instructor, Cathy Harris, for a fun class which will open up a whole new artistic method for stepping up your quilting journey!! Start with tracing your design on muslin , free motion quilting (beginner friendly) then bring your inner child and play with watercolors on fabric!! You finish with an eyeglass case that is unique and your own!!

Supply List:

10” x 10” piece of muslin

11” x 11” piece of batting

10” x 10” piece of lining for eye glass case

Working sewing machine

Free motion foot for your sewing machine

Optional, walking foot for your sewing machine.

Thread; black or brown for free motion stitching and 2-3 full bobbins of matching thread

Basic cheap small paint brushes, dollar tree or old makeup brushes; small head.

These items will be supplied:

*Watercolor paints.

*Paint tray pallets.

*Fabric medium to set the paint. (GAC 900)

*Basic pattern for the eye glass case.

*Flower design for free motion stitching on the fabric, muslin and batting sandwich.

*Light table to trace the design on your muslin.
