Tucker University Senior Year 2024-2025 Tradional Log Cabin



Considered a basic quilting block, but the challenge is to keep the block square throughout the entire process.  Mastering the construction process and fabric planning of the Traditional Log Cabin will assist the quilters in transition toward creating Curved Log Cabin blocks and then the Star 60 Log Cabin units.

Supplies:

Basic Quilting Supplies : Rotary cutter w/ sharp blade, Pins, Small cutting mat, Invisigrip, fine point sharp marker (dark color), Best Press or light starch (optional) , Straight edge ruler 6" x 12" .
Basic Sewing Supplies: Sewing Machine w/ power cord and manual, Thread, Machine needles, Snips or trimming scissors, seam ripper.
