T Shirt Class



Trying to determine where to start on a T-Shirt Quilt?  This class is for you.  Bring a stack of T-Shirts and you will learn how to take the shirt apart, then the steps to make blocks with borders that can be joined for a quilt.  Discussion will cover planning for blocks for small designs (child) or large designs (adult), why you need interfacing, and strategies for if you have a lot of shirts or not so many shirts. 

Supplies:

T-shirts, minimum of 12
Fabric for block borders - recommended fat quarter bundle
Interfacing, such as EZ-Tee Stabilizer
Seam Ripper
Scissors
Rotary Cutter and Mat
Ruler 6.5 x 24 inch
Sewing Machine
Standard Sewing supplies i.e. pins, thread, extra filled bobbins
