Rope Bowl Class



Have you wanted to try making a rope bowl, but were afraid to ask!?! This class is for you. We will go over the basics of making a bowl out of rope on your domestic sewing machine. We will talk about types of rope, how to start, finishing, and so much more. 

Supplies:

Sewing machine in good working order with all typical tools and notions
Open toe foot preferred but zig-zag foot will work
neutral color thread and 2 full wound bobbins
non fabric scissors ( you will be cutting rope)
Denim needle
100 feet of 100% cotton clothesline, 1/4" diameter
Fat Quarter of fabric (Batik's work wonderfully )
straight pins and clips,
 *Please make sure your machine can handle thicker materials
 * Please make sure your machine can do a "zig-zag" stitch
Glue Stick (generic is fine)
Dark heat erase pen such as Frixion (not chalk or water base)
Scissors with small tip
