The Quilted Contessa

Welcome quilters of all levels! Join us as we make the beautiful Contessa quilt pattern. This free pattern can be downloaded from Moda Fabrics or you may pick up a copy at our shoppe. In preparation for America’s 250th Birthday, I have chosen a red, white, and blue color palette, but you are welcome to choose colors that you love. This class will meet every other Thursday beginning April 9th from 10:30am to 4:00pm. We look forward to sewing with you!

Please plan to purchase your supplies in advance of class. If an item is not in stock, contact us as soon as possible to request a special order. A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required for special orders to help ensure your supplies arrive in time for your class."

Sewing Machine in Good Working Order

Thread - medium value such as medium grey

1/4 inch foot or other means to make a 1/4 inch seam

Extra Needles for basic piecing

Rotary Cutter and Blades

Fabric Scissors

Cutting Mat

Pins or clips

Extra wound bobbins

Jelly Roll friendly or 35 2 1/2" strips

2 yards of solid background fabric

1/2 yard for binding

4 1/3 yards for backing
